Frequently asked questions about the Analysis Laboratory
What are the opening hours of the sampling points?
Corso Calatafimi 390 and Viale Regione Siciliana N.O. 279: Monday to Friday 07:10–18:00 and Saturday 08:00–10:30. Via Francesco Paolo Di Blasi 8: Monday to Friday 07:15–12:00 and Saturday 07:40–10:30. Closed on Sundays.
Do I need to book my tests?
You can book your check-up online choosing the centre, the day and the time, or contact us on 091 59 01 50 (WhatsApp too) for information about the tests and about access to the sampling points. To speak to the sampling points by phone, please call between 11:00 and 12:00.
Can I have my tests with a prescription and an exemption?
Yes. Bring the electronic prescription listing the tests, an identity document, your health card and, if you are entitled to it, the exemption certificate. The exemption also applies to blood tests at home.
Do I need to fast?
Most blood tests require fasting for at least 8 hours; a small amount of water is allowed. For specific tests we give you the instructions when you book.
How do I collect my reports?
You can download your reports online from the Referti Web service or collect them at the sampling point where the test was taken.
Do you also offer blood tests at home?
Yes. The home blood test service in Palermo is available for older people, those who find it hard to travel and anyone who prefers the comfort of home, with the same safety as a test at the centre.
