Andrology
The andrology clinic at CalatafimiMed supports patients in the diagnosis of diseases of the male reproductive organs (penis, testicles, prostate and seminal vesicles). What is an andrology visit? An andrology visit is a specialist check-up in which the andrologist assesses the health of the male urogenital system.
It identifies any problems affecting the external genitals (penis and testicles) or the internal structures. It is useful both when functional or anatomical changes are suspected and as prevention, especially after the age of 50. - Which conditions can it detect? The andrology visit is used to diagnose, monitor or treat problems of a traumatic, inflammatory, infectious or cancerous nature. Some common cases are: -organic erectile dysfunction; - varicocele; - epididymitis; - phimosis; - orchiepididymitis; - fertility problems; - orchitis; - testicular torsion; - undescended testicle (cryptorchidism); - hydrocele; - tumours of the testicle or scrotum; - balanitis, balanoposthitis or posthitis. -How much does an andrology visit cost? Erectile dysfunction visit
Erectile dysfunction assessment: a diagnostic assessment to identify the physical or vascular causes of erection problems.

Dr Giovanni Contino is a doctor specialising in urology and andrology, with a solid academic background and long clinical experience. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Palermo and specialised in urology and andrology with top marks. His training includes an advanced course in operative endourology at the San Donato Hospital in Milan, where he gained advanced skills in urethroprostatic, bladder and upper urinary tract surgery.
