Urology
Welcome to the Urology clinic at CalatafimiMed. The clinic is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the urinary tract and of the male reproductive system.
The urologist specialises in conditions affecting the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive system; in particular, they carry out tests for the early diagnosis of prostate cancer and specialise in the treatment of urinary stones and male and female urinary incontinence.
The urology clinic is supported by the semen analysis laboratory, which can assess fertility through tests such as the semen analysis (spermiogram), used to diagnose problems with sperm or seminal fluid.
The laboratory can also test for infections such as mycoplasma, ureaplasma and chlamydia.
