Sports Medicine
Sports Medicine at CalatafimiMed supports people who exercise, at any level, with check-ups and tests to play sport safely. We carry out the medical check-ups for certificates of fitness for non-competitive and competitive sport, with ECG and exercise stress test where required.
The service is for individual athletes and also for gyms, sports clubs and associations, with organised pathways to manage their members’ certificates.
Services
- Non-competitive certificate: for amateur sport, fitness and leisure activities. Includes a medical check-up with medical history, blood pressure measurement and resting ECG.
- Competitive certificate: for athletes and sports clubs. Sports medicine check-up with the tests required for your sport, such as resting and post-exercise ECG, spirometry and urine test.
- ECG and exercise stress test: assessment of how the heart responds to physical activity, on a cycle ergometer or treadmill, with continuous ECG and blood pressure monitoring.
For the competitive certificate you need the request from your sports club; under-18s must be accompanied by a parent. Bring an identity document, your health card and any previous reports.
